Richard J. Kwasigroch Richard J. Kwasigroch, age 77, born in Joliet on May 15, 1947, passed away with his family at his side on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Lightways Hospice Home. Survived by his wife, Patricia Kwasigroch (nee Richards); children; Karl (Lisa) Kwasigroch of Joliet, Amy (Tom) Balding of Morris, and Dustin (Laurie) Kwasigroch of Leander, TX; sister, Barbara (Rich) Gall of Channahon; half-sister, Phyllis (late Carl) Hines of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Tabitha Kwasigroch, Joe Balding, Josh Underwood, Nicholas and Spencer Kwasigroch; great granddaughter, Penelope Kwasigroch. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many dear friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew (Adelyn) Kwasigroch, brother, Robert Kwasigroch. Dick owned and operated Dick's Shoe Repair and Leather goods in the Hillcrest Shopping Center for 33 years and retired in 2020.
