June M. Sestak (nee Wilmot), age 89, of Crest Hill passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Survived by her daughters Roxanne (James) Kozar and Karen (Brian) Tipton, her grandchildren Scott Kozar, Justin Kozar, Sean (Kirsten) Tipton and Jason (Neely) Tipton, her great grandchildren Hayden Kozar, Kyle Kozar, and Cole Tipton, her brother Donald (Stella) Wilmot, her nephew John Wilmot and her nieces Lynn (Kelly) Williams, Susanne (Tracy) Davis and Debbie Wilmot. Preceded in death by her parents John and Hortense (nee Hitchman) Wilmot, her husband Emil "Rocky" Sestak and her brother James (Martha) Wilmot. June was a graduate of Hirsch High School on the south side. She worked in customer service at Sears, retiring in 2001. June knew a little about everything. She had many hobbies, she enjoyed golfing, painting, playing the keyboard, playing slots and bingo, knitting and shopping to name a few. As long as June was out doing something, she was happy.
