Kevin M. Hargis - passed away unexpectedly, Saturday June 29, 2024 at his family home. Age 51. He is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years Amy Theresia (nee Billapando), his parents Larry and Charlotte Hargis, his brothers Lawrence Hargis, Michael Hargis and sister Judy (Kurt) Sedlacek. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved in-laws Ronald and Catherine Szarzynski. He was a member of Alpha Delta Nu National Honor Society for Associate Degree Nursing Programs, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, National Association of EMS Educators, National Association of EMT's, International Association of Firefighters and Illinois Society of Fire Service Instructors. Kevin was a devoted husband who loved the outdoors and traveling with his wife Amy and their dogs. He had a passion for helping people, whether it was through his work as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Fire Fighter or teaching CPR, he was always there to help. This is evident in his pursuit t
