Jack D. McDonald, 95, of Joliet, IL, passed away on June 29, 2024. Jack was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who lived a full and vibrant life.Jack was a self-employed businessman, running Westside Shell Service with dedication and pride. He found joy in traveling with his beloved wife and had a deep, unmeasurable love for his children. Jack enjoyed dining out, especially savoring his favorite breakfast of biscuits and gravy. From a young age, he also harbored a passion for horses.Jack is survived by his loving children, Kelly (Jim) Walker, Chris McDonald, and Jackie (Tom) Tezak; his cherished grandchildren, Brandon Walker and Jill Tezak; and his adored great-granddaughter, Madilynn Tezak. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Lucy A. (nee Vallera) McDonald: parents: John and Lola McDonald; and his siblings, Bob McDonald, Chuck McDonald, Beatrice (nee McDonald) Burgett, and Iola (nee McDonald) Handlon.The family will receive relatives and friends for a visit
